Angelina Thorne has been studying the Art of Belly Dance since 2002 with various master teachers from many styles, and has spent the last 13 years as a professional performer and teacher in Vancouver BC, and now Kingston, ON. She is an openly obsessed finger-cymbal fanatic, and loves to teach, perform, and write about "good ol' fashioned belly dance"!

In support of Leeds & Grenville Interval House we have created a calendar showcasing instructors and performers from Kingston, Ottawa, Toronto and Brockville that took part in our Hafla and/or are part of the Brockville dance and music scene. Na'ema explains proper body mechanics and helps the beginner student avoid the pitfalls of poor execution. Each student is encouraged and helped to develop at their own pace. Aaliyah Intermediate Troupe class - Simply Beginners pre-requisite or approval by Na'emaThis challenging class is a performance based class. The students are challenged to learn and maintain more advanced technical skills while also learning choreography to be performed at various times throughout the year. Extra fees are involved for costumes and choreography.
