About Us

I’m Rosey and I am a photographer. I specialize in Event Photography such as parties, family gatherings, stag and does, bridal or baby showers, grand openings of businesses and more. I feel capturing the moment without being “posed” is more appealing; it doesn’t look so stiff, more relaxed and natural. Plus it lets people see you having fun and being yourself.

I have loved photography for as long as I can remember, always wanting to take pictures of everything and everyone. I think I was about 12 or 13 when I got my first camera – a 110 mm – and I was tickled pink! A few years ago I was talking to a friend about how I would like to do it as a profession but didn’t know how to go about it. I didn’t want to do portraits as I don’t like the stiffness of poses. I enjoy taking pictures of nature, landscape, people, pets, pretty much everything. She suggested I get into Event Photography, taking pictures of parties or business functions while everyone enjoys the social aspect of the event. I loved the idea! So, here I am making a business of Event Photography.

I am a mother of 2 grown children, both of whom I am very proud of and love so much. I have 3 cats who drive me nuts sometimes but they are my fur children and part of my family. Other then photography my hobbies include colouring (don’t judge me! It’s very calming lol), I have started bullet journaling and enjoy it. I am starting my business in a more serious way so I have been spending quite a bit of time researching, gathering information and thinking about everything to get it going – quite time-consuming.

So, that’s me in a nutshell.
