Join us on Monday, September 30th as we come together to honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day is dedicated to reflecting on the legacy of residential schools, paying respect to Indigenous survivors, and fostering a path toward healing and understanding.
Here are some key events happening in Brockville:
Ceremonial Gathering – 10:00 AM at Hardy Park: A moment of reflection and cultural sharing, including traditional Indigenous music and drumming.
Educational Talks – Throughout the day at the Brockville Museum: Learn more about local Indigenous history and the importance of reconciliation.
Orange Shirt Walk – 2:00 PM from City Hall to St. Lawrence Park: Wear your orange shirt and join the community in a walk of solidarity and awareness.
